Formally known as Green Pyramids Hotel was established in 1980 as a deluxe 4-stars hotel with 82 rooms.

In October 1994, the hotel has changed name to Royal Gardens Hotel, and started contruction to become a 5-star Hotel by adding 100 deluxe rooms and suites , with 2 new Swimming Pools , Bars , Several Restaurants & Coffee Shops , Discotheque , Ballroom, 2 Meeting Rooms. The total new land became aprox 12.000 square meters.

The newly opened Sheraton Royal Gardens Hotel in April 2000 has become the 10th Sheraton Hotel in Egypt.
